Helador J. Frank, 86, of Rochester Township, died Monday, May 14, 2001, in Rochester Manor.

Born July 3, 1914, in Rochester, a son of the late Charles P. Sr. and Mary Minnie Bernard Frank, he was a retired self-employed cement contractor for over 50 years. He was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester, and was a 1932 graduate of Rochester High School.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary E. Antitomas Frank, in 1970; a daughter, Marianne Tuffs, in 1973, and two brothers, Anthony A. and Vincent James Frank.

Surviving are his wife, Mae M. Frank; two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna S. and Bruce McDonald, Seattle, Wash., and Jacqueline L. and Charles Lambert, Houston, Texas; a son, Charles E. "Charlie" Frank, Rochester Township; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Charles P. Jr. and Betty Frank, Jesse B. and Dorothy Frank, Donald A. Frank, and Joseph J. and Mildred Frank, all of Rochester Township; eight sisters and two brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Clyde Gump, New Galilee; Helen VanDoren, Beaver; Mary LaRose, Frances Lucas, Peggy Nine, Miriam Gay and Richard Bobo, Katherine Frank, and Bernadette Frank, all of Rochester Township; numerous nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Rose Frank, New Brighton, and Sara Frank, Ellwood City; a son-in-law, Bobby Tuffs, Rochester, and a daughter-in-law, Rosann Frank, Philadelphia, Pa.

Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM MURPHY FUNERAL HOME INC., 349 Adams St., Rochester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Rochester.

Interment will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery.

A wake service will be held today at 3 p.m. in the funeral home

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Cecilia Building Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
